Hearthstone Goblins Vs Gnomes Card Preview: Tremble Before Gahz'rilla, The Three-Headed Water Dragon Of The Desert

Bow Before Gahz'rilla, The Latest Card Preview For Goblins Vs Gnomes

Blizzard is ensuring that there will be no surprises for you when you get Goblins Vs Gnomes, the next expansion for Hearthstone. The company has been dropping new cards left and right, teasing out the latest mechanics, spells and minions as a sort of early Christmas.

Introducing Coghammer, It'll Boost You Up And Protect You In Hearthstone

Toucharcade released an exclusive look at a new Mech card: Whirling Zap-O-Matic, a new 3/2 minion that only costs 2 to summon. It also has Windfury, so that three power will hit for six. A 3/2 for 2 seems overpowered as hell, that's a big bad to drop on the second turn.

Meanwhile, over at the official Hearthstone page, where players can vote for the next sneak peek a pitched battle came down to the finish line: the two cards, one an antlered stag and the other a three headed dragon, were neck and neck until the end.

But, there can be only one. And your Hearthstone sneak peek of the day is...

Gahz'rilla!

Originally found in the vanilla WoW dungeon Zul'Farrak, who could only be summoned after a particularly long and exhausting ritual. Thankfully, Blizz did a way with that bit of trickiness. The aptly named creature is the supposed watergod of the neighboring trolls, and he packed quite a punch.

As does his Hearthstone incarnation. Every time old Gahz takes damage, his own attack is doubled. Now, obviously this works when defending against something big, but imagine you're binking your own minion. Suddenly, your hunter Hero is dealing out 1 damage to your own unit, and making him very, very large indeed. Gahz'rilla starts as a 6/9 creature who costs 7, but he can get real big, really, really fast.

There's a reason he's a Legendary card. He's a gamechanger. Very exciting.

The current vote is between what looks like a Gnome mage violently copying itself, and a rather tallish Rogue about to murder a sleepy Gnome wizard. Needless to say, the rogue one is running away with it at the current moment.
