Avengers Ultron Forever Announced: New Comic Miniseries Launches in April [VIDEO]
Last month we went bonkers over the leaked trailer for the Avengers: Age of Ultron movie and with good reason. But if May 1, 2015 seems like too long of a wait, Marvel has good news for you. You can get your Avengers fix in April with a suite of Ultron Forever specials.
If you're not familiar with the comics at all, this may be an excellent way to familiarize yourself with the maniacal villain.
Ultron Forever will encompass three books, Avengers, New Avengers, and Uncanny Avengers. Each book will be an oversized special tying into a future where all your favorites are dead and Ultron rules with an iron fist. Well he rules with whatever metal his fist is made out of, anyway. In order to defeat this evil, the Avengers of the past must assemble to travel to the future of their worst nightmares. But this is not just one team picked out of a single decade, instead it's a hodgepodge of members from various eras. From the present day to the past and into the future (the future before Ultron killed everybody, of course).
The Team will include today's Black Widow, The Vision, The Incredible Hulk and two Thors for the price of one. After all, what's better than Thor? Two Thors, that's what.
They will also meet with Future Captain America but even he is allegedly not prepared for what is waiting for them. The story will be penned by Al Wing of Captain America and the Mighty Avengers with art by Alan Davis. Avengers: Ultron Forever releases April of 2015.
