It's always a good day in the DC universe when Bizarro Superman comes out to play. The only thing that could make that better is the addition of LEGO. Lucky for us, Warner Bros Entertainment is releasing DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League vs Bizarro League in a Blu-Ray combo pack early in the coming year.
Lego Batman 3 Beyond Gotham Adds Bizarro World DLC Pack to the Mix
Fans may be familiar with the blocky antics of the LEGO versions of DC's famous heroes. The stories feature familiar faces from the comics and more hard hitting movies, but their superhero antics are bit more light hearted. The popular franchise features DC favorites as LEGOs in a LEGO built world. Even with the fun, family friendly storylines, Batman still doesn't trust Superman completely, but I don't think he keeps kryptonite on hand to poison him if he goes rogue.
Despite the tension in their relationship, Batman has joined the Justice League and is helping out to keep the world safe from cartoon evil. Everything is going well until Bizarro Superman shows up. He's the mostly fail but very sweet clone of the Man of Steel. In order to make everything better/worse, Bizarro Superman creates his own Bizarro Justice League and comic antics ensue. Of course, hard feelings get set aside when Darkseid forces them to band together and work as a real team.
Get Ready for Mayhem Suicide Squad Cast Announced
The movie is being released on Blu-Ray and DVD on February 10, 2015. It will be available via digital download as well but if you opt for the physical copy you'll also be treated to an exclusive Batzarro LEGO Minifigure.You know you want it.
