The video, below, is a combination of the game's intro cinematic (originally leaked before being released officially) and gameplay clips. The best look at in-game footage before this was the previous trailer, a more humorous preview of The Dark Below's content.

New story-relevant character and quest-giver Eris narrates the trailer and previews the expansion. The Dark Below is theoretically going to provide a more cohesive story in an attempt to address the major narrative complaint about Destiny.

In The Dark Below, the Light level cap will be raised to 32, a bump up from the current 30 if you can find the gear to support it. New exotic and legendary gear will be introduced, though the exact nature of these items is still unclear. Story missions and quests will be added to game alongside five more bounty slots. Eris warns that the Hive are attempting to summon the god Crota to destroy Earth, and will be available in the tower to offer three missions.

As hinted at in the leak, the new raid Crota's End (Destiny's second raid) will also be introduced. It's set within the Hellmouth, and will be a six player affair like Vault of Glass. A new cooperative Strike, The Will of Crota (see a pattern?) will pit you and your fireteam against the enemy Omnigul. Three Crucible maps are also included in the DLC--Pantheon, Skyshock, and The Cauldron.
