Mark Hamill To Guest Star In The Flash: The Role Of The Trickster To Once Again Be Filled By Familiar Face

Mark Hamill To Take The Role Of The Trickster In Upcoming Episode Of The Flash

Mark Hamill is known for two things- being Luke Skywalker in Star Wars and being the best damn Joker voice this side of forever. These are facts, but fans of the actor will get to see him reprising another past role in The Flash according to Comic Book Resources.

Marvel Star Wars to Revisit Old Faces in New Comic Series

Hamill will be taking up the role of the Trickster once again. Fans of the original 1990s Flash tv series may remember that the actor played this role before. The Trickster was a reoccurring  villain in the Flash comic. He didn't have super powers. Just a very clever con man with a lot of wonderful toys. In the show, Hamill appeared as the James Jesse version of the villain.

Hamill will be reprising this role but a little differently. Obviously, the man is a bit older (and beard-ier!) than he was in 1990s. He will play an aging and incarcerated Trickster who is a bit more serious and less cartoony than his original version. In the new Flash he is an anarchist terrorist who is actually helping the hero put an end to a copycat villain in the city. Also something to look forward to is the appearanceof  Flash v1.0, John Wesley Shipp, the actor who wore the red uniform in the 90s show.

Flash/Arrow Crossover Event Ends with Hints About Future Episodes

Fans of the hero (and villain) will have to wait a little bit to catch the episode, as it's not due to premiere until the 17th episode of the season which will air in Spring 2015. We've only just come upon the mid-season finale of The Flash after an epic cross over event with Arrow. Check out the trailer for the next episode below.
