Assassin's Creed Unity Patch 4 Delayed To Refurbish Paris, Club Competition Legendary Items Unlocked In The Meantime

Ubisoft Puts Assassin's Creed Unity Patch 4 On Hold

After announcing last week that the next patch for Assassin's Creed Unity would be going live today, Ubisoft posted an update saying that Patch 4 has been delayed with no new expected release date.

According to the update, the development team decided to hold off on releasing Patch 4 to give the patch more time in development and make sure they provide players with all of the fixes that were promised.

"We are committed to delivering major performance improvements, which requires that we refurbish the Paris map and that will take a few more days to hit the high level of quality our players deserve," the update reads.

In the meantime, Ubisoft has also unlocked some of Unity's legendary gear that was previously supposed to be given out as rewards for the game's Club Competitions. Seeing as how the game still hasn't seen Club Competitions start up yet, all of these items, which make up most of the game's collection of legendary gear, have been so far unavailable. Higher-level players have had very limited options when looking to upgrade to high level gear.

Club Competitions are set to begin after Patch 4 rolls out. While we wait for that to happen, nine pieces of legendary gear should now be available for anyone to buy with in-game currency (for a fairly steep price, mind). You can find a full list of the unlocked gear on the Ubisoft forums.

Assassin's Creed Unity is now available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
