Game of Thrones Season Five Spoilers: New Teaser Trailer Fails After Release [VIDEO]

Technical Difficulties Keep Fans From Viewing Newest Game Of Thrones Trailer

As expected, with season five finally all wrapped up from filming, the first teaser is being released by Game of Thrones. Well, at least they tried, anyway. The first real use of the web site ThreeEyedRaven.com proved to be a bit of mess that left fans without much to actually see.

Sansa Stark Taking a Dark Turn In Season Five of Game of Thrones

Back and November, fans were treated to a very short teaser and a message to "follow the three eyed raven" which avid readers of the book or viewers of the show know means a lead into prophecy. Once at the site, fans were instructed to sign up via twitter or SMS.

Well, the first treat from the site went out Monday night via twitter. Users who signed up received a private message with a teaser trailer inside. There's a catch though, you could only watch it once. Unfortunately, the plan didn't go quite as smoothly as HBO would have liked reports International Business Times.

Game of Thrones is a Wrap, Brace Yourself, Trailers Are Coming

There were a host of technical issues with the roll out and it left many fans without any trailer to watch.

For the curious who were either left in the dark due to failure or just don't have Twitter, then there is some intel on what was missed. The trailer contains quick flashes of main characters. These include Sansa Stark, who we know will be seeing more darkness this season. Tyrion Lannister seen sitting in the dark, perhaps still on his voyage away from King's Landing. His sister, Cersei Lannister behind bars, maybe jailed for the murder of her father? Finally there is a shot of the White Book aka The Book of Brothers which may be an allusion to either Jamie or King's Landing itself.

Until it's all worked out, you can see a very tiny version of the trailer below.
