UK gamers who pre-order the STANDARD edition of The Legend Of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D for the Nintendo 3DS will receive a free Majora’s Mask paperweight that they can then use to crush their enemies in roughly three days’ time.
“Please note, this offer is not available for the Special Edition of the game,” the site reads, like music to the downtrodden’s ears.

For £32.99, all that can be yours. The game releases worldwide next year. Don’t worry American players, I am sure some enterprising Brit will post the paperweight up on various online auction sites.
In other Zelda-themed holiday news, intrepid Youtube channel Really Freakin Clever created a - yes, really freaking clever - Majora’s Mask 12 Days of Christmas parody. It ends pretty much as you expected. (with thanks to Kotaku)
But to kill the joke: in Majora’s Mask, you have three days to prevent the moon from crashing into Termina, an alternate version of Hyrule. The Snowhead referenced in the song is the mountain range in which the Goron village is located. In essence, you play the same three days over and over again, with each playthrough unlocking more and more of the adventure. But you only ever play those three days, preventing you from every knowing what you might receive on days four through twelve.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t make for the most upbeat of holiday songs. Watch below.
