With that in mind, developer ATLUS today has announced that players who pre-order the upcoming Etrian Mystery Dungeon, the ultimate RPG crossover, will receive the game’s soundtrack as a special bonus. The offer is limited exclusively to the first run editions of the game, so be sure pre-order sooner rather than later.
The game is being scored by longtime Etrian Dungeon composer Yuzo Koshiro, who has a career dating back to before you were born. It’s in fantastic hands. Give a listen to some highlights of his work HERE.

ATLUS and Spike Chunsoft also released a brand new trailer for Etrian Mystery Dungeon which hopes to explain how the game was made. It unfortunately does not involve ‘well, when an Etrian Odyssey and a Mystery Dungeon love each other very much…’. It does, however, show off some of the new gameplay elements for the crossover Rogue-like title.
The companies also unveiled the final box art for the Nintendo 3DS game and it is precisely as one expected it would be.
Etrian Mystery Dungeon is coming to Nintendo 3DS in the Spring of next year. The customization and exploration that made the Etrian Odyssey series popular combines with the endless Rogue-like dungeon crawling of Mystery Dungeon to bring you what is shaping up to be a fabulous handheld title.
