American Horror Story: Freak Show has been full of crazy moments already in the first half of the season. Some have been far more insane than others. Here are the top five WTF moments that Ryan and the gang have treated us to so far in this season. Spoiler Alert! If you haven't caught up with the season, there are some reveals.
The Return of Freak Show Brings a New Owner into the Mix
1. Jimmy gets caught banging Ima
This didn't make the list because she's a big girl, we're not about body shamming here. This is on the list because Ima is very much just a stand in for Jimmy's poor departed mother, Ethel. Drunk or not, Jimmy is in effect doing the deed with his substitute mother. And for that, this gets the first spot on our list.
Also, weird parallel between Kyle Spencer, Evan Peters' character from Coven, and Jimmy Darling with the mommy issues. For anyone keeping track of such things.
'Curtain Call' Details Released for Finale Episode of AHS: Freak Show
2. Ma Petite's death
We knew it was coming but there was something about seeing her tiny body, still in her new dress, that was just shocking. It was as if the show was confirming that absolutely no one was safe this season.
3. Dandy's Mother puppet
Dandy is a big ole bag of crazy but he really out did himself with his full size Dot and Bette puppet made from the decomposing remains of his own mother and the Avon lady. Somehow seeing her (them?) suspended was for more shocking than his new blood based hygiene regiment.
4. Stanley's big, er, reveal
In a series filled with brutal murders and deep rooted deception, one of the biggest "What??" moments came from Stanley. Only it had nothing to do with murder and more to do with his extremities. In rare quiet moment with Del, Stanley explains to us all why he's the big man on campus. It's a special moment.
5. The birth of Lizard Girl
Ignoring the weirdness that took place early in the season with the character being basically roofied and raped for days on camera, her father then had her face completely tattooed and her tongue split because she dared to love a freak.
