Star Wars Comics Return To Marvel, Massive Amounts Of Collections Appear On ComiXology

The Star Wars Comics Are Gone From Dark Horse But Some Have Made Their Way To ComiXology

It's not news that Marvel is releasing Star Wars comics after they've regained the license. What is exciting for fans is that for the first time, some of these collections will be available on ComiXology for purchase.

Breaking Bad Star Speaks Up About Rumors Surrounding Possible Star Wars Role

This isn't the first time that these titles have seen the digital world, they've been available through the Dark Horse digital platform for a while but for fans who like to keep their collection under one banner or who wanted to get into the books but weren't willing to switch to another platform, this is the first time they'll be available through ComiXology.

In accordance with their agreement, Dark Horse no longer has these titles for sale on their own website. If you had already purchased them however, they will still be available in your library. So you don't lose what you may have had, but you can't get any new ones.

New Look At The Millennium Falcon Leaves Star Wars Fans Drooling

All the Star Wars comics that are part of this release on ComiXology are under the Marvel bannerm, even the ones that were originally put out by Dark Horse. It's safe to assume that the company purchased the license to reprint those titles so fans would still have access to some of the most popular collections put out by the publisher.

This is a massive selection of books including a great deal of collections, covering everything from the original Marvel run from 1977 all the way to books like Star Wars: Tag and Bink Were Here.

The official run for Marvel's Star Wars doesn't start until Star Wars #1 is released next week but this is an easy way for fans to get caught up with the ends and outs of the Star Wars Universe. You can check out the collection on ComiXology.
