Mortal Kombat X Trailer Debuts First Gameplay Footage Of Kitana And Kung Lao, Playable Goro A Pre-Order Bonus [VIDEO]

Gruesome New Mortal Kombat X Trailer Shows Off Kung Lao, Kitana, And Plenty Of Fatalities

Developers NetherRealm Studios continue to pull the curtain back on Mortal Kombat X's eclectic cast of characters, with a new trailer showing off the first gameplay footage of Kitana and Kung Lao.

Total War: Warhammer Game Accidentally Revealed?

The video features plenty of violent action clips of the pair, along with other characters. There's vicious regular attacks, gruesome fatalities, and everything in between--you can watch it all unfold below. The end even boasts an announcement: pre-ordering now will unlock the returning Goro as a playable fighter.

Visually, the game is looking fantastic. The series has of course always been known for its gratuitous violence, and--whatever your stance on that may be--the next generation hardware is allowing it to display more detail and offer more animations than ever before. The combat appears to be smooth, the effects look sharp, and the fatalities as brutal as you can imagine.
