New Tablet Puzzle Game Follows Castle As He Solves Mysteries

Nathon Fillion's Castle has jumped from tv screens into his own game. Castle: Never Judge a Book by Its Cover is a new tablet game for iOS, Android, and Windows 8 tablets, a free-to-play adventure game that's available now.

Castle is a hidden object and adventure game. Players team up with Castle and Beckett to help them solve a case involving a brutal serial killer. Just like in the show, each "case" that you solve draws you deeper and deeper into the mystery, as well as helps you see the pattern in the murders.

You have to solve puzzles and find clues to try and solve the case before the murderer strikes again. It sounds a bit like a child's game but the content is certainly adult.

Castle on ABC follows Richard Castle, a mystery novelist who has hit a bit of the writer's block. He is contacted by the NYPD in connection to some murders that are staged to look like crime scenes from his books. He teams up with Detective Kate Beckett to clear his good name.

Once that case is solved, they continue to work for seven seasons. They worked so well they ended getting married. Nothing brings a couple together like serial killers.

"There are a lot of mystery programs on television, but 'Castle' achieves that rare balance between engaging drama, humor and high energy that translates wonderfully as a gaming experience," said Mark Meadows at GameMill Entertainment.

Castle: Never Judge a Book By Its Cover is currently available for download on iOS, Amazon Store, and Windows 8. You can get more information from GameMill's website.
