Moon Studios Announces Release Date For Gorgeous Indie Title Ori And The Blind Forest

Ori and the Blind Forest, the gorgeous indie title from Moon Studios, officially has a release date and price.

Steam Broadcasting Live Stream Service Is Now Available

The game is set to launch on March 11 for Xbox One and PC at $19.99, the developer announced today. An Xbox 360 version was mentioned in the past, but there's no word on its release date at this time.

Ori and the Blind Forest is developed in the Unity engine, though it mimics the hand-drawn style seen from Ubisoft's UbiArt engine (see: Rayman Origins). The title first made its debut during Microsoft's press conference at E3 2014. The gameplay features side-scrolling 2D platforming, with puzzle elements present throughout.

Classic Star Wars Games Available On GOG, Including Battlefront 2 And Galactic Battlegrounds

The game is literally turned on its head with gravity mechanics that force you to learn how to navigate the space differently, as shown in today's new gameplay video straight from the developers. The title continues to look great, and the sound design seems just as good. Ori and the Blind Forest doesn't look to be all style and no substance, either, but it's difficult to say without playing a significant chunk for yourself. In less than two months, you'll be able to see for yourself.
