It's fair to say that Grand Theft Auto has a bad reputation outside of the gaming community for its blatant violence and mature themes. Older people in particular are usually skeptical of the games, which makes the new Elders React video from The Fine Bros the perfect storm.

In the video below from the popular YouTube account, Grand Theft Auto V is met with the usual comments about violence for kids. After some amusing commentary and an initial struggle with the controls (certainly for some more than others), the elders get the hang of how to play the game.

What follows is both entertaining and interesting to watch. There are clear moments of joy as the players drive and run about, and it's not long before the skepticism gives way to moments of violence. More of the players than you might expect get into the killing, and seem to be enjoying themselves doing so. The series has that effect on people as they begin to play, and it's obvious this crowd isn't an exception.

There are those who continue to object, but there's also one comment about it all clearly being make-believe from one of the women undoubtedly having fun taking out pedestrians. Watch the video below and enjoy their reactions--you'll hear some gems like "I didn't want to [punch her]...I meant to shoot her." Grand Theft Auto will convert you yet.
