Summoners War Invades China Android Market Next Month, Will Add Millions Of New Players

Summoners War: Sky Arena Will Release On New Chinese Android Markets Next Month

When you're on top, it's very hard to go any further. That is not stopping company Com2uS and its hit game Summoners War: Sky Arena from trying. The company has announced it will release the F2P mobile title onto new Android platforms in China next month.

The move will put the mobile fighter onto the Chinese Android platforms Baidou and Qihoo 360 sometime in February. It will add a potential market of nearly 500 million new users. Allow me to put that into other numbers: that is half a BILLION. With a B. That is more than the entire population of the United States.

Even if 1% of the potential customers download and play the game - a lowball figure - that still adds 5 million new players. If ten percent download it, that's 50 million extra users. The game is currently available in 89 countries - including China on certain other platforms and networks - and has netted 25 million downloads and has a fiercely loyal community.

Fifty million new users is a big deal. "Com2uS plans to leverage the popularity of Summoners War in China to reach a broader audience with this expansion and plans to launch other popular Com2uS titles in the future."

Summoners War players, things are about to get a little more crowded in the world of the game. Plan accordingly.

You can download Summoners War: Sky Arena today via both the iOS App Store and Google Play. The game is free to play and does feature a wealth of in-app purchases. Watch the new commercial, which features many popular Vine personalities. Things are about to get a little heated in the neighborhood.
