Leaked Game of Thrones Season 5 Trailers Shows That Everyone Has A Plan

Game of Thrones opened in IMAX theaters last night. Included in the showing was the first full trailer for season 5 of the hit series. The two minute spectacle included huge hints at what's to come in the violent world of the series.

Just about every player was present in the trailer except for those beyond the wall. It was theorized early that Bran and the gang wouldn't be featured this season because their plot lines had caught up to the books. For everyone else though, they'll be here.

First and foremost it looks like the wedding between Tommen Baratheon and Margery Tyrell will finally take place. I don't mean to be a downer but literally every dude she's married has died a terrible death and we know a wedding isn't worth attending in Game of Thrones unless someone dies.

This also means more Grandma Martel who is literally the best thing in the Seven Kingdoms. She's briefly seen but it's clear that she doesn't expect her granddaughter to just be a pretty piece of arm candy for the king.

In another conniving relationship, Little Finger is seen giving Sansa advice to "avenge them". This is probably in reference to her very murdered family members. As far as anyone knows, she's the last Stark, true heir to the North. She may have a lot of pull with families still loyal to the old ways and with Little Finger standing in her shadows, they could make a formidable pair.

Of course you shouldn't trust Little Finger.

Arya makes it to the House of Black and White. Yay!

The most exciting part of the trailer is Varys and Tyrion's arrival across the seas. In a small chat it's revealed that Varys intends to put someone on the Iron Throne. According to him, Daenerys fits the bill and it's clear the two are now plotting to get her on the Throne.

Game of Thrones returns April 12 to HBO. Check out the fan captured trailer below.
