Warhammer 40,000: Regicide Gets An Army Of Collector's Editions, Available For Pre-Order Now

Hammerfall publishing is now taking pre-orders for the Collector's Edition for their upcoming Games Workshop adaptation, Warhammer 40,000: Regicide.

Regicide is the sci-fi chess game featuring stunning wonderful pieces, all set to tear one another to pieces in the most civilized way possible. There are several Collector's Edition bundles available, each featuring real life Warhammer swag, mostly shirts and hats, posters, that sort of thing. Perfect for the Warhammer collector in your life.

The limited editions allows players access to various in-development updates "to the game when it goes live."

Per the press release: "Players who purchase these limited edition bundles will receive, in addition to the in-dev game key, a set of high quality art prints of iconic characters from the game, and limited edition apparel designed by acclaimed Warhammer 40,000 artist Stefan Kopinski.

The bundles are available for the next twelve days and range in price from 29.99 AUD (Aussie dollars) to 89.99. Players who order the higher end versions of the collector's editions will even get their names in the credits of the final game. Editions that include the "Content Season Pass you will also get unrestricted access to all future game content, including upcoming Mission Pack Add-Ons designed in collaboration with established Black Library authors, new units and more."

No release date has been set for Warhammer 40,000: Regicide as of yet, but the game is expected to be released sometime during the second quarter of 2015. Watch the new cinematic trailer, rendered entirely with in-game footage.
