Dragon Ball Xenoverse Season Pass Emerges On Steam

Dragon Ball Xenoverse does not launch until February 27, but a Steam page for a season pass has appeared.

The pass, which had not been mentioned previously, details a list of content that will be added to the game sometime after launch. The DLC includes episodes and quests, Masters and Masters Quests, Stages, Skills, Costumes, Accessories, and Z-souls.

Purchasing the pass will give you access to any content that releases for the title, but (as is usually the point of season passes) it will save you money compared to buying each piece of content individually. It's currently priced at $24.99, or you can buy the game and the pass for $74.98.

Some fans inherently dislike the idea of DLC, especially if it's announced prior the game. The thought is that some of the content is "on disc", or already in the game at launch, and players are merely paying to unlock it. As you can see in the Reddit thread on the news of the pass, fans are voicing their displeasure, but some don't mind the option to pay for more content.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse is launching on February 27 for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3.
