Basically, the special is set up to show you what a typical day of filming is like on the Game of Thrones set. The only thing is, a typical day on set happens over three countries. This causes some logistical issues. The special deals with how these are covered.
Although it's focused on production, it does give you spoiler looks at what's to come. There's a quick flash of a Sand Snake battle. Looks like it may not be a serious fight. On the other hand, there are a few shots of real battles.
Season Five Of Game Of Thrones May End Much The Same Way Season Four Ended
One is at the wall where we see Jon Snow fighting against some Wildlings hard to say if the Wildlings are alive or just not quite dead. There is also a live look at the arena battle that we saw pictures of. The last two look pretty serious.
We're also treated to a lot of scenery porn. We are able to see the massive amount of work that has gone into the creation of the sets and turning the real world into the fantasy world found in the novels.
There isn't any commentary from the stars but they are seen throughout the special.
