It had been roughly 24 hours since the last bit of Warhammer 40,000 news and clearly that is far too long a period to go without mentioning Games Workshop. Developer Whitebox Interactive has announced a new Warhammer 40,000 MOBA.

The Fast And The Forza-us: Dom And Familia Join Racing Title Next Month

Titled Warhammer 40,000: Dark Nexus Arena, the game will hit Steam sometime 'early Q2 2015' The 4v4 brawler takes place in the Wych arenas of Commorragh, and is described as a "blend of twin stick shooters and MOBA genres." An intriguing blend, one that will rely less on twitch skills - endlessly clicking the right button at the right time - and may require a little more precision.

Characters from many different factions from across the vast Warhammer 40k universe will be thrown into combat at the far reaches of space. Currently, only the Tau, Space Marine and Ork factions have showcased. Several heroes, called veterans in the game, have already been outlined - such as the Ork Stormboy, which launches itself atop a rocket at enemies, and the Fire Warrior, which rains "plasma fire from afar."

Dragon Quest Heroes Will Journey Onto North American Shores This Year

Players can check out the official site periodically to catch up on the new factions, which will include the Eldar, Tyranids, the Inquisition and many more.

"Our vision is to adapt a never-before-seen piece of the Warhammer 40,000 universe to a videogame set against the brutal and bloody Dark Eldar Arenas. To that end we are calling on you, the community, to help us. Your feedback will drive our work towards game balance, bug fixes and development of the best Warhammer 40,000 multiplayer battle arena experience." says the entire team at Whitebox.

Warhammer has covered turn-based titles (obviously), F2P strategy mobile games, platformers, straight up action games, chess and now MOBAs. When does the Match 3 game come out?
