Xbox Live Games With Gold March 2015: Free Rayman Legends For Xbox One, Tomb Raider And Bioshock Infinite For 360

Microsoft has announced the free Games With Gold titles they are offering for March 2015, which is going to be a great month no matter which console you own.

As per usual subscribers will be offered two free Xbox 360 titles and one Xbox One title for the month. Note that you only have to be an Xbox Live Gold member to get these free games, although trial codes don't work. You need to be at least a one-month subscriber to get the goodies.

For the entire month of January Xbox One owners will be able to download Rayman Legends, one of the finest platformers of recent years. The Rayman series has long been just a joy to play and Ubisoft's recent revival of the series has been met with plenty of much-deserved acclaim. As with the other free Xbox One Games With Gold titles Rayman Legends will only be yours as long as you're an Xbox Live Gold member.

That's not the case with the Xbox 360 titles, which are yours to keep forever.

On Sunday, March 1 Tomb Raider will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through March 15th.

Who would have thought that ripping off the game that ripped it off would result in a product better than either? Tomb Raider does take a a lot from Uncharted but it does its own thing well enough to be possibly greater than either series ever was. This isn't the improved next-gen version of the game but it's still just as compelling and remarkable as it ever was, and twenty bucks cheaper than it costs.

On March 16 Bioshock Infinite will be made available to download for free through March 31.

The game has not been without its detractors but there's no doubt that expericing the incredible world of Columbia is a requirement for any gamer. It's simply such a fascinating place to walk around and explore, even without the bother of having to murder dozens of people with your hook hand. Now you can see it for free.

Microsoft has really been stepping up its game in the last few months as far as free Games With Gold selections, something subscribers have definitely realized and appreciate. Don't forget to download them all while you have the chance!
