First 'LEGO Jurassic World' Gameplay Trailer Focuses Mostly On 'Jurassic Park': Relive All Four Films This June [VIDEO, SCREENS]

Relive The Adventures 65 Million Years In The Making With The New 'LEGO Jurassic World' Gameplay Trailer

Warners and TT Games have invited us all into the park with the first gameplay trailer for the upcoming Jurassic World video game.

Life Is Strange Episode Two Is Out Next Week On All Platforms

True to the now famous style, the trailer takes moments from all four films - though it mostly relies on the warm fuzzies we all still have for the first - and gives it the post-modern snark we've come to know and love from LEGO games. Instead of bashing through the fallen tree during the jeep scene in the original, the T-Rex now comically runs into it and is levelled.

But it raises the point: you wouldn't be so graceful and dignified if you were 65 million years old, either.

The 3DS Games You Need To Get Before Club Nintendo Is Gone Forever

No release date has been set for the game, which will be out on PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, PS Vita, 3DS and Wii U. Jurassic World, the movie, hits theaters on June 12. So chances are the game will release either right before, on June 9 or directly afterward (to avoid spoilers) on June 16. But those dates are mere conjecture.

Check out some of the screenshots.

We have to admit that, watching the trailer, you can honestly put anything - cartoon or otherwise - over the legendary John Williams theme and make it thrilling. You can even redo it with a melodica and it's still just the best thing ever.

Jurassic World stars Chris Pratt in what we can only assume to be the role of that little kid that Dr. Grant scared with the velociraptor claw at the beginning of Jurassic Park. All grown up, he now wrangles raptors for the (currently) disaster-free Jurassic World theme park. But because people are just awful and are now bored with dinosaurs - because apparently there's a shelf life on playing god the scientists have gotten it into their heads to create their own dinosaur.

Can you guess what happens next?
