Capcom revealed the details of the title, which will include the original game from 2008 with visual upgrades such as 1080p resolution and new high-res textures. The original 60 frames per second will be maintained, and it will come with three new characters, a game mode that has not yet been on consoles, and gameplay improvements.

Dante's twin brother Vergil will appear as a playable character, boasting a new look and moves since his appearance in Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening Special Edition. Also added are two female playable characters: Trish (who will play Dante's missions) and demon hunter Lady (who will play Nero's). The five total playable characters is the largest roster yet in a Devil May Cry game.

'Rainbow Six Siege' Closed Beta Coming To PC, PS4, And Xbox One

The Legendary Dark Knight mode was added to the PC version of Devil May Cry 4, but has never appeared on console. That changes in the Special Edition: Legendary Dark Knight mode brings horde-based gameplay to PS4 and Xbox One, challenging players to fight increasingly strong waves of enemies at once. The fight is tough, but it gives you the chance to string together huge combos that you may not normally be able to reach.

Unspecified improvements to "the game tempo and balancing" will be made, and new costumes and skins will be added. Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition will be available as a digital download this summer--check out the debut trailer below.
