The championship will take place this April 25 and 26 at EXPO XXI in Warsaw, Poland and will feature 12 of the top rated 7-man teams in the world competing against one another for a $300,000 pot to be divided amongst the winners.

The 12 teams will be assembled from the two best teams from each of the regional servers: North America, Asia, Europe, China, the Commonwealth of Independent States and two Wild Card teams to be chosen from amongst the others.

The teams will attempt to win the crown back from 2014's winner Natus Vincere ('born for victory' from Eastern Europe.

"The list of grand finalists will be announced during the seeding ceremony on April 2 at 19:00 CET."

The Grand Finals event will continue the new and revamped tournament format, Attack/Defense mode, which has removed draws from matches and steamlined the pace of games, allowing for far more thrilling battles. Each team will have 54 points to spend on the tank squad of your choice, with teams able to purchase vehicles up to Tier VIII.

However, if you're not participating in the tournament itself, you can still find lots to do at the expo center. "The Red Bull stand will provide World of Tanks Blitz in-game competitions. The MGT-20 will offer team competitions of up to 14 players across separate gaming stations; attendees can sign-up on-site during the tournament and take advantage of the activities during breaks. And the online transfer site paysafecard will be hosting a trivia tournament to test your World of Tanks IQ.

Plus, there will be tanks. Like real tanks. The tournament will be displaying a T-34/85 and M4AI Sherman, courtesy of the Polish Military Museum in Warsaw.
