Club Nintendo News: Today Is The Last Day To Register Games And Hardware For Coins!

Reminder: Today Is The Last Day To Register Your Games And Hardware Via Club Nintendo

We are under 24 hours away from the last moment you can register games, hardware or signing up for membership with Club Nintendo. So hurry!

Noooo! Zelda Wii U Delayed Until 2016!

At 11:59 p.m. tonight, Club Nintendo will officially enter lame duck status. You can still purchase items with coins you have collected over the many years of service, but starting April 1, you will no longer be able to add to your vast coffers.

Our professional advice to you is to head over to your nearest Target and pick up the five Nintendo 3DS games currently on sale for $15 - New Super Mario Bros 2, Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D Land, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D and Animal Crossing: New Leaf - and register them as soon as possible.

All told, the five games will net you 200 points, and only cost $75, or about the cost of Destiny and some (not all) of its DLC.

If you scrounge up 100 more points, you'll qualify for Elite Status - Gold. Platinum is reached at 600 coins. Members who reach Elite Status will be able to choose a downloadable game from a wide selection of Nintendo 3DS and Wii U titles. The free Elite Status gift will be available between April 1 and April 30, 2015.

A full list of available titles will be announced tomorrow when Club Nintendo officially retires from public life.

However, if you find yourself with some coins to burn, there are some excellent games for both the Nintendo 3DS and the Wii U that we highly recommend purchasing before it's too late. Register your new games HERE.

Club Nintendo officially closes up shop on 11:50 p.m. PST on June 30. Nintendo is currently working with mobile giant DeNA to bring forth a new membership service, but no other details beyond what has been announced have been unveiled as of this time.
