Sony and developers Psyonix opened beta signups today, and acceptance into the multiplayer beta will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are a limited amount of vouchers for players in North America and Europe, so head over and sign up if you're interested. The beta is open now for those who are accepted, and will run until a yet-to-be-determined date in May.

In Rocket League, players drive and jump around a digital soccer field in an attempt to put a large ball into the net with nothing but a rocket car. It's a fairly absurd take on the sport, and Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle Cars garnered more than two million downloads on PS3.
