It's that time of the year again, Dota 2 fans: The 2015 Compendium is now live.

The digital book serves as both a rewards system and a prize money generator for competitive tournament The International. It sells for $9.99, and gives players a chance to level up and gain rewards while adding to the final prize pool for The International. The 2015 version went up last night, and is already at nearly $2 million. The list of what can be earned is extensive, but Valve provides a stretch goal tracker on the game's website--see the rewards for this year there.

25 percent of all Compendium sales are sent directly to the tournament's prize pool, with last year's edition reaching over $10 million. By playing and leveling up their Compendium, players can unlock goodies such as coin boosters and new items, but that's not the only way to earn rewards. Valve has funding stretch goals that encourage the community to spend together to reach money milestones, for which it will award everyone certain prizes.

Items such as new music and announcer packs, emoticons, loading screens, and (if the prize pool really grows) a special Immortal are available as stretch goals. Valve has already listed the stretch goals all the way up to $15,000,000 (which is what it will take for the new Immortal, as well as a longform comic). This way, players know now what exactly they're shooting for as a community. Get earning--The International 2015 is set to kick off August 3 in Seattle.
