DICE has announced new Battlefield 4 maps will come at no cost to players, and that all future content for the title will be free.

Destiny Preview Video Explains All The Features, Modes & Content In House Of Wolves

As seen on Battlefield Central, the developers are bringing night maps and a new community map to the online shooter, announcing that not only would these maps be free--all future content for Premium and non-Premium members will not cost a dime.

The developers discussed (via VC Post) the night maps, which had been seen before--check out the screenshots on BF Central. The night maps will be night versions of existing maps, not entirely new ones (though the community map will be). The remakes will include Siege of Shanghai, Zavod 311, and Golmud Railway.

It's not just all maps, though: there is a new Gunmaster mode coming, along with five new weapons. Check out the video below for footage of the new weapons in action, including the return of the AN94. The other weapons will be the Groza-1 Assault Rifle, Groza-2 Assault Rifle, L86A1 Assault Rifle, and the Mare's Leg aka Saddle Gun Sniper (compact rifle/pistol). Those will be made available free in the upcoming Spring patch. The community map will be available this summer, as will another unannounced remake of a former Battlefield map.
