Nintendo eShop And Virtual Console Update, May 14: 'Ultratron', Puzzle-Platformer 'Nihilumbra' & More Added

This Week's Nintendo eShop Update Adds 'Ultratron', Puzzle Platformer 'Nihilumbra' & More Today

Another week, another Nintendo eShop and Virtual Console update. Nintendo is bringing a selection of new games to its digital stores on both Wii U and 3DS today--let's see what they have on tap.

Silver Edition Mario amiibo Figure Announced

The offerings this week somewhat lack a big name title, but there are some additions worth noting. Ultratron continues its rollout over many systems, launching for Wii U for a price of $8.49 until May 26. Ultratron will allow you to experience some retro shooting action as an upgradeable droid out to avenge the human race.

Nihilumbra is also releasing for Wii U, a puzzle platformer that tells the story of Born--a being from the Void that wants to find the meaning of its own existence. Each color you find in the game will allow you to paint the landscape with your hands, altering its properties. It will be available for a lower price of $7.99 until May 28.

Two 3DS titles release today as well: re-mastered SEGA classic 3D Thunder Blade and Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains, based on the popular anime series.

Wii U's Virtual Console is getting new Mega Man and Mario titles, as well. Mega Man Battle Network 3 White & Mega Man Battle Network 3 Blue are available, as is New Super Mario Bros, the first of the new line in Super Mario Bros games for DS. The additions are rounded out by a general eShop Capcom sale for Wii U and 3DS, and sales on Wooden Sen'Sey, Midnight, Toon Tanks, Arrow Time U and more.
