As promised Microsoft's Xbox One has rolled out its latest update which includes a couple of new social features and an improved video streaming capability from Xbox One to Windows 10 PCs.
In detail, the improved streaming capability of the Xbox One, considering that the internet and bandwidth conditions are excellent, the user can now stream games and videos from the console to any Windows 10 operated computer at a staggering 1080p and 60 fps (frames per second).
Aside from the excellent video streaming improvement, owners of the Xbox One can now interact with their friends through the device's messaging capabilities. The owner only needs to right click on a friend's name and select the Send Message and Invite to Party to commence the chat.
The feature will also allow the player to compare their game achievements that are playing the same game.
Another excellent improvement on the Xbox One is the player's ability to now disable all invites and notifications sent, which somewhat halts a game, whenever the said messages are coming.
In order to do that, the player needs to manually disable the type of notifications through the console's Settings under the Party & Games Invitations.
However, the most notable improvement of the console, among the previous additions, would be the grid support. With this improvement, the games are now listed on a grid, which is sorted alphabetically.
By clicking on the letters, the list will collapse and will show all the games that start with that specific letters or numbers, this feature will allow the players to quickly find a game compared to the old way of searching for a specific game.
The update can be done, automatically, through the Windows Store.
Xbox One made its debut in 2013 and is the direct competitor of Sony's PlayStation 4. When the console was released, it didn't have the backward compatibility which means that it can only play games that are specifically made for the console and previous games from its predecessor is not playable in the machine.
However, this was overturned when Microsoft announced during the E3 conference that they will not equip the Xbox One with a backward compatibility and it is expected to it to be available by November.
