Astral Authority To Sponsor 'Heroes Of The Storm' Team: Are They Taking Them To Compete In DreamHack Austin?

Astral Authority recently announced that they will be backing up a team in the "Heroes Of The Storm" competition in DreamHack Austin. "Team Gust or Bust" was signed by the professional electronic sports organization yesterday, as announced in their official Twitter account.

Following a good run in Burbank's Spring Regional, "Team Gust or Bust" soared and caught the attention of the gaming community. According to Yahoo, Astral Authority's CEO, Dean Tavarez said that this is the perfect opportunity to compete with other big names, and also cited it as the best time to get involved in "Heroes Of The Storm" as it starts to pick up on popularity.

High hopes are thrust upon "Team Gust or Bust" performance in the "Heroes of Storm" leg of DreamHack Austin. It is also expected to qualify for the ESL studio's second NA regionals in June. Astral Authority COO, John Kelly said in the same interview that "While we want our team to win, we (Dean and myself) will be there for moral support should we not."

ESPN reported that "Team Gust or Bust" seemed confident with its roster as it consists of the captain, Damian Nagel, Chris Beery, Jerome Tanguay, Kevin Marco and Jon Peterson with team manager, Mel Kong. They will be competing against 7 other top teams of "Heroes of the Storm" in hopes of winning 100,000 dollars. The number one team gets to compete in the Global Summer Championship where a pot of 500,000 dollars is waiting to be won.

Previously, Team Na'Vi announced its bid for the "Heroes of the Storm" in DreamHack Austin but decided to pull out of the running due to poor results, as reported by Yahoo. A shocker considering its long streak of being the top team to beat in Europe. It is still unclear if they are closing the back on "Heroes of The Storm". One thing's for sure, "Team Gust or Bust" have one less team to worry about.
