Square Enix launched "Brave Exvius" in Japan in October 2015. "Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius" was developed by A-Lim and features the same gameplay as the mobile RPG title "Brave Frontier." The same touchscreen battle system is also used, which allows players to swipe in various directions to perform special attacks. There are also turn-based battles, magic spells and summons. Yoshitaka Amano, who worked on "Final Fantasy," illustrated the characters in the upcoming game.

If one million points, or about 33,333 registrations, are reached, the Terra from "Final Fantasy 6" will be unlocked as a summon. There is no official release date for the free-to-play title at the moment. So far, the game has been downloaded over 5 million times in Japan.
