Anticipation for the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 continues to be high but folks will have to hold that though at least until for a couple of more months.
For now, people who intend to get the next iteration of Samsung’s celebrated phablet line will have to ponder on the possible specs which have plagued the web as we speak. The upcoming Galaxy Note 6 is seen to exceed the impression that the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have so far garnered with its specs.
By now, most have probably come across word that the Galaxy Note 6 will rely on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, 6 GB of RAM and a larger 4,000 mAh battery.
Placed side-by-side with the Samsung Galaxy S7, there is no question that the Galaxy Note 6 is the better of the two and that it may imminently be crowned the Korean company’s premium phone, at least for 2016.
Another feature worth noting is the S Pen stylus which may offer something more with the aid of an interesting application called the S Note app. The app is said to be something that will offer more functionality to users, allowing them to take quick notes or “doodle”.
However, it remains to be seen how the S Note app will fall into user’s fingertips. It may come pre-installed or something that could be obtained via OTA or the Play Store.
Either way, the app offers user a secure way as far as note-taking is concerned. This is thanks to the fingerprint security feature that should keep it protected from being seen by others. Aside from that, deleted notes will temporarily fall in a recycle bin – meaning they can be restore at any point if users owners require it.
The S Note app is actually available at the Play Store right now and is something even non-Samsung owners can use, provided their devices are already running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The downside is that people who get it may not be able to put the S Pen Stylus to full use.
