'Hitman Episode 3: Marrakesh' Release Date Announced, Here's Everything We Know So Far

The release date of "Hitman Episode 3: Marrakesh" has been announced. The third episode of the third-person shooting game is slated to launch on May 31, 2016.

Io-Interactive features the new environment of Marrakesh in "Hitman Episode 3." The game is divided into seven episodes. Episode 1 included the prologue and Paris setting. The second episode featured Sapienza. "Hitman Episode 3" is the latest to release, which will bring players to the Moroccan city.

Travis Barbour, Io's community manager, said that they wanted Marrakesh to be extraordinary, which led the team to create a busy location with various things to do.

PlayStationBlog wrote that Marrakesh is a location full of life and activities. Agent 47 will go through several alleys that almost create a maze, a shisha café, rooftop terraces, the bustling marketplace and medina walls, among others. There is also the Swedish Consulate building, an architectural beauty that showcases a minimalist Scandinavian design and a mixture of wood, glass and concrete.

"Hitman Episode 3: Marrakesh" will continue to offer exciting missions for players that require both infiltration and cunning. "Hitman Episode 3" includes two targets. The mission, called "Gilded Cage," requires players to eliminate Claus Strandberg, a private banker, who is secured inside the Swedish Consulate.

The second target in "Hitman Episode 3" is army General Reza Zaydan, who is located at a temporary headquarters in the middle of Marrakesh and protected by an elite group of soldiers. The two special targets will be difficult to eliminate and will also have their own stories that add to the sentimentalism of "Hitman Episode 3."

"Hitman Episode 3" will provide more live content for gamers to deal with. The live features will be complimented well by the busy market and Swedish Consulate settings. "Hitman Episode 3" features several challenges and activities to keep players occupied until the next episode releases. There is also a whole new setting for Contracts mode, Escalation Contracts and Elusive Targets that will add to the dynamism of the game.

GameSpot stated that the price of "Hitman Episode 3: Marrakesh" has yet to be announced. However, if it follows the price of the second episode, it may cost $10. Players can also avail of all the episodes via the "Full Experience Package" which costs $60.

"Hitman Episode 3" will be released on May 31 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. More updates and details on "Hitman Episode 3" are expected soon.
