Report are, the laptop will be announced officially this coming June at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference. The event is said to release its upcoming flagship laptop, the MacBook Pro 2016.
The highly-anticipated laptop is reported to be the thinnest, lightest and, the best part, possibly the cheapest laptop of the MacBook Pro line-up. It will feature the latest Intel Skylake processor that promises significant boost speed and performance, Touch ID, USB Type-C on both sides, Thunderbolt 3 and an OLED touch bar above the keyboard.
MacBook Pro 2016 vs Microsoft Surface Pro 5; Which is better?
There were rumours that Microsoft's flagship laptop will be released this June. However, with supposed release approaching so near, the Redmond-based tech giant could be thinking of a later date.
The problem is, the Surface Pro 5 will suit up an Intel Kaby Lake processor but it's set to release only on the first quarter or early 2017. It will feature a 4K HD display that will also support USB Type-C ports.
Most likely, Apple will release the MacBook Pro 2016 this coming October and if Microsoft would religiously follow its release pattern and be able to have Intel release the Kaby Lake processor on time, then we will definitely see a "Clash of the Flagship Laptops" this 2016.
