'Battlefield 1' First Livestream Schedule: 64-Player Battle Happening On E3 2016

'Battlefield 1' First Livestream Schedule, 64-Player Battle Happening On E3 2016

Electronic Arts (EA) recently announced that the actual gameplay of the upcoming “Battlefield 1” will be shown via a livestream at E3 2016 in June. In particular, the 64-man multiplayer combat will be featured at the event.

According to the game developer, the livestream, titled “Battlefield Squads,” will begin at 2PM PT/5PM ET on Sunday, June 12, 2016. EA will have its briefing for E3 2016 one hour earlier. Players are already excited to see the giant 64-player battle, which is one of the top features of “Battlefield 1.”

GameRant noted that EA also invited several popular YouTube users to be part of the 64-man fight in “Battlefield 1.” There will be two teams in the match, namely Team Stone against Team Neebs, led by captains StoneMountain64 and BFF-Noob, respectively. Some of the members of Team Stone include Vardoc, Diablox9 and QJB, while Team Neebs will include LevelCap, JackFrags and BFF-Engineer. More special guests and players will be joining the teams during the livestream.

Gamers who wish to attend the livestreaming event of “Battlefield 1” can follow @Battlefield and tweet the account, together with a video, citing their reason why they should be part of the 64-player battle. The chosen players will have the chance to join the highly anticipated event, as well as see and experience the most massive and innovative title in the franchise yet. Interested players can submit their applications until June 3, 2016. The event is expected to be a great way of introducing the game to fans, as well as introduce some of the popular names in the industry with regular players.

“Battlefield 1” is quickly gaining momentum, even though Patrick Soderland, head of EA Studios, initially had plans to cancel the game before development. Before, Soderland thought that modern shooters with sci-fi features grabbed the attention of more gamers, but it seems that there is still a huge following and demand for old war games.

The upcoming game is set in World War 1 and showcases a variety of weapons, vehicles and elements from one century ago. So far, the game has been among the most anticipated in 2016.

GameSpot revealed that “Battlefield 1” will launch on Oct 21, 2016 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Those with an EA/Origin Access membership or purchase the deluxe edition can have early access on October 18. The game developers are also expected to present a beta version before the official release date. More updates and details on “Battlefield 1” are expected soon.
