'Deus Ex' 2016 Updates, Square Enix Teases New Projects Ahead Of E3 2016; Demo Live Stream Schedule

Square Enix recently revealed that it is working on new “Deux Ex” projects in 2016. Several titles are reportedly in the pipeline.

Square Enix revealed that it will work on “Deux Ex” 2016 on Twitter. Bethesda will host the Deus Ex Universe Pre-E3 Showcase at E3 2016 in June. The event will feature various projects that will expand the Deux Ex Universe.

GameSpot stated that Square Enix will feature demo for “Deus Ex Mankind Divided,” which is slated to release in the future. The event will happen on June 8, 2016. Those who cannot attend the actual event can watch the live stream on Deus Ex twitch channel instead.

Deus Ex Universe consists of various core games and other projects that will bring the world of “Deus Ex” to life, according to developer Eidos Montreal in 2013. Currently, the world has four games, namely “Deus Ex,” which released in 2000, “Deus Ex: Invisible War,” which launched in 2003, “Deus Ex: Human Revolution,” which released in 2011, and “Deus Ex: The Fall (2013).

According to SegmentNext, "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" is the fifth in the series, which was announced in April 2015 and expected to release on Aug. 23, 2016. The game is expected to remain consistent with the series' theme of a dystopian future plagued by issues like mysterious factions that aim to control the world via proxy and the results of new-age attitudes and technologies.

Square Enix featured a new trailer for the upcoming “Deus Ex” 2016. The video features more of the Deus Ex universe to players. The game is set after the events of the fourth installment. Based on the video, the peak of augmentation is already in the past, which means that the people who were mechanically augmented are currently isolated from the rest of the world.

Sony shared that “Deus” 2016 is aiming to enhance its approach to action RPG, featuring unique side quests, customizable weapons, several new augmentations for Adam Jensen, new special locations around the globe, and more.

“Deus Ex” 2016 will become available in two versions – the Digital Standard Edition and the Digital Deluxe Edition. The standard edition will feature the base game and Desperate Measures DLC while the deluxe edition will consist of the base game and season pass, allowing players to acquire DLCs in the future. Preloading and preordering of the game are already available.

More updates and details on “Deus Ex” 2016 are expected soon.
