The world of plants and zombies just got more competitive. PopCap recently announced the new "Plants vs Zombies Heroes" - Ranked Multiplayer feature making the game more competitive and exciting.

PopCap just announced the game's official website that it is adding more features into the recently introduced game. The "Plants vs Zombies Heroes" - Ranked Multiplayer feature allows users to enter into competitions to gain rewards and move up the ranks.

This new feature is an addition to the current casual multiplayer feature of the game. In the new "Plants vs Zombies Heroes" Ranked Multiplayer, players may compete with other players to try to move up in the global ranking system. This would surely interest more competitive players of the game to test their skills and strategies against other skilled "PvZ Heroes" players.

The game offers numerous superhero Plants or Zombies that players can use. Since different superheroes have different abilities, the game presents a creative challenge for players to come up with their own unique strategy to win against other players and rise at the rankings. The new "Plants vs Zombies Heroes" - Ranked Multiplayer offers that chance for players to show to the world what they've got.

But the introduction of the new "PvZ Heroes"- Rank Multiplayer feature does not mean that the game is now purely PvP. Players who wish to play alone to relax can still access the game's single player campaign, according to iDigital Times.

While the game is actually easy and playable by anyone, "PvZ Heroes" will also meet the needs of players looking for a challenge. The rules and mechanics are simple yet its application and mastery will prove to be tricky, especially when one is matched against equally good players. Now, with the introduction of the "Plants vs Zombie Heroes" Ranked Multiplayer system, the stakes are even higher. Other players may now able to assess one's skills based on his rank.

For now, only the lucky few can try out the new "Plants vs Zombies Heroes" Ranked Multiplayer feature. PopCap opted to have a limited game release last March and the "PvZ Heroes" is currently available in New Zealand, Canada and Brazil.

Stay tuned for more "Plants vs Zombies Heroes" news in the future. Enjoy the trailer of the game below.
