'Injustice 2' Coming In 2017: New Trailer Shows The Battle Of DC Superheroes
Another addition to the collection of the game aficionados' is coming with "Injustice 2." The sequel to the original title, "Injustice: Gods Among Us" was officially announced with a trailer and is expected for release in 2017.
The Battle Of Superheroes
The teaser of "Injustice 2" seemed to be more faded compared to the colorful images of the original "Injustice: Gods Among Us" in order to add more dramatic effect, according to The Verge.
It started in a dark alley featuring Superman being attacked by The Flash. Later, Batman came in and beat the fastest superhero, but Aquaman emerged and hit him.
Superman lashed again, but this time, he was faced by Supergirl. Afterward, they all composed themselves and stood up to battle one another.
"Injustice 2" will resume from where "Injustice: Gods Among Us" left off, Forbes reported.
Batman will do his best to build the society Superman destroyed along with his super friends. However, a new battle is about to start as the Man of Steel's allies is trying to bring back his regime.
"Injustice 2" features the return of the DC Comics superheroes, but two new characters will be introduced; the Red Lantern leader Atrocitus and Flash's monkey opponent, Gorilla Grodd.
'Injustice 2' An Original Story
NetherRealm Studios is making it its top priority to enlarge the DC Universe in the world of gaming.
David Haddad, President of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, boasted in his statement that "Injustice 2" has an astounding gameplay and original story to bring the DC superheroes to life.
"In 'Injustice 2,' we are introducing new features that will change the way fans play fighting games," Creative Director of NetherRealm Studios, Ed Boon, said in the same statement, as per NDTV Gadgets360.
"We're always interested in pushing the genre forward and allowing players to customize and level up their favorite DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains is a significant leap," he continued.
"Injustice 2" will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
