'Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare' Multiplayer, 'Call of Duty 4' Remastered Version Not Coming In E3 2016, Set For September

It was recently announced that details about “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” and “Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare” Remastered multiplayer will not be presented at E3 2016 in June. Instead, gamers will have to wait until September 2016 for more information.

At E3 2016, Activision will still talk about “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare,” although it will delve more on campaign. The game publisher is set to hold a Call of Duty XP 2016 event in September, where players will see multiplayer footage for the two games. The special Call of Duty XP 2016 community event will happen at the Forum in Inglewood, California from September 2 to 4.

GameSpot noted that aside from getting a glimpse of the multiplayer video, players can also actually test “Call of Duty: Infinity Warfare” multiplayer, “Call of Duty 4” Remastered Version, the new Zombies mode in “Infinite Warfare” and the next expansion of “Black Ops III.”

There will be several other activities to enjoy at Call of Duty XP 2016 aside from trying the “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” multiplayer. Gamers can join a paintball match based on Nuketown, as well as play Zombies laser tag. There will be a number of developer panels, showcasing game developers like Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games and Treyarch, among others.

Other things to look forward to include a photo booth, a Call of Duty armory, a franchise museum and a surprise musical guest. The Call of Duty World League Championship will happen at the show, featuring 32 of the best teams in the world competing for prizes valued at $2 million.

Eurogamer reported that there will be a Call of Duty VR Infinity Warfareexperience that will virtually accommodate fans inside the cockpit of the Jackal spaceship from the game.Activision said that the VR experience will only be exclusive to Call of Duty XP 2016, and will not be included in the finished game.

Tickets for Call of Duty XP 2016 will become available beginning June 11 at 10 a.m. PST. There will be three types of tickets sold. The Enlisted Ticket ($49) includes general admission seating for three days of the Call of Duty World League Championship as well as access to gameplay and activities at the event.

The Veteran Ticket ($129) includes general admission seating for three days of the Championship, access to gameplay and activities, the digital Legacy edition of “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare,” valued at $80 and a Care Package with exclusive game XP swag. The Prestige Ticket ($199) includes scheduled activities and gameplay, VIP line and VIP lounge access, player meet and greets, parking pass, premium seating for the game’s multiplayer reveal and Championship, a Digital Deluxe Edition of the game valued at $100, and a Care Package with exclusive XP swag.

“Call of Duty: Infinity Warfare” releases on Nov. 4, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
