‘GTA 6’ Latest News, Release Date & Update: New Territories May Include Las Venturas And San Fierro

“Grand Theft Auto 6” (“GTA 6”) is a game that many are eagerly awaiting though they may have to wait a bit longer to see the key changes the open world action-adventure game has to offer.

With most GTA fans still on “GTA 5," some of the expected changes expected for “GTA 6” would involve the maps it would use.

Initial rumors believed that the maps would include the entire US as its gameplay map but all that would later on be appended to include other countries such as London or even Tokyo, Japan.

And now, the most recent update of them all points to the possible inclusion of San Fierro or Las Venturas, two regions lacking to compete the San Andreas territories not present on “GTA 5."

San Fierro and/or Las Venturas were not included in “GTA 5” back in 2013 reportedly due to game console and resource limitations. Hence, such explains why only Los Santos and Blaine County were in tow.

With that in mind, the two missing pieces from the San Andreas territory could possibly be included on “GTA 6” though nothing has been made official for now. For reference, the popular locations that GTA had used in the past included Vice City which was patterned after Miami, Florida.

Like the previously mentioned maps, fans are also hoping to see the return of Vice City on “GTA 6." Rockstar Games has been silent on the matter so those wishes are left afloat for now.

As mentioned earlier, “GTA 6” is likely to come out in 2018 as Rockstar retains its usual 5-year allowance before releasing new game titles under the same banner.

With E3 happening next week, there are some even hoping for some sort of update on the game despite the fact that Rockstar is expected to focus more on another game title, “Red Dead Redemption 2."
