'Red Dead Redemption 2' E3 2016 News & Update: Will Sequel Finally Debut?

"Red Dead Redemption 2" might finally be happening. There have been rumors of the highly-anticipated sequel making its debut soon. But will the new Take-Two title finally be unveiled at Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016?

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has recently teased that the company's E3 2016 presence will be felt "in a big way."

Although some believe that Zelnick is referring to the reveal of "Grand Theft Auto 6," there is a possibility that he means "Red Dead Redemption 2."

Strauss Zelnick has previously confirmed that "Red Dead Redemption" and "Grand Theft Auto" are permanent titles (via Movie News Guide).

This could mean that the Wild West title will also be getting a sequel soon. But will "Red Dead Redemption 2" be the biggest reveal for Take-Two at E3 2016?

Fraghero has previously shared information from an anonymous email that contains some interesting information.

According to the source, the sequel's official title is "Red Dead Redemption 2: Legends of the West." In addition to that, the game will be available next year but will be announced at E3 2016.

The email also discloses that there will be more than just one playable character. "Red Dead Redemption 2" is also expected to have an extended map and more locations to explore.

Fraghero was also quick to point out that the "Red Dead Redemption 2" information has not yet been verified and it would be best to take all the details with a grain of salt.

Strauss Zelnick and Fraghero's anonymous source are not the only ones teasing the debut of "Red Dead Redemption 2."

Social media is flooded with crazy predictions about the title's introduction at E3 2016, as seen in the tweet overhead.

Is "Red Dead Redemption 2" a mere rumor, or will it finally be unveiled at E3 2016? The truth may finally be revealed this week.
