‘Pokémon Sun And Moon’ News & Updates: Trailer Shows Zygarde Two New Forms

Nintendo reveals two new forms for returning legendary Zygarde in the latest trailer released for "Pokémon Sun and Moon." While fans may have seen the complete forms in side-games and in the anime, this is the first time Zygarde achieved its final form in a game.

Zygarde Transformations

Kotaku reported that Zygarde 10 percent form, which is the first in progression, was released over the weekend during National Pokémon Championships event.

Zygarde started its life as a Cell, and then progressed into a brain-like Core, which becomes the basis for three advanced states for "Pokémon Sun and Moon."

In the usual run of things, a Pokemon achieves its final form when the situation calls for it. The official Pokémon Channel shows off a gameplay from "Pokémon Sun and Moon," battling two new Zygarde forms against a Meta gross and Garchomp.

Gamerant said that the first transformation of Zygarde 10 percent form resembles a dog. In this stage, Zygarde can use the signature moves "Thousand Arrows" and "Thousand Waves."

Cinemablend further explained that the "Thousand Arrows" move shoots off a thousand digital arrows, landing around the opponent.

Meanwhile, the "Thousand Waves" move allows it to turn into a wave of digital shards and attack the opponent. Take a look at the clip below.

When Zygarde took the Dragon Claw attack from Garchomp, it makes it final transformation into Zygarde Complete Form.

In the second and complete transformation, Zygarde uses a trendy Core Enforcer attack, which uses a beam to draw "Z" much like Zorro.

Zygarde in 'Pokémon X and Y'

Zygarde was first introduced in "Pokémon X and Y," where the legendary beast served as a counter to the game's other mythical creatures.

It first appeared to be like a large snake resembling letter "Z." Some fans take this as an indication that "Pokémon Z" may be coming soon.

More so, the renaming of the "Pokémon XY" anime to "Pokémon XY & Z" gives more confirmation to the theory.

However, Zygarde will most probably come to "Pokémon Sun and Moon" together with other legendary creatures. CoroCoro magazine hinted that the game's new starter Pokémon hide a mysterious secret.

Pokemon Sun and Moon will be released exclusively for the Nintendo 3Ds on November 18, 2016. Check out the longer transformation in the video below.
