Halo 4 Prelude Trailer Released; Gives Inside View of 343 Industries Workings (Watch It)

Game enthusiasts are looking forward to the release of Halo 4, the eighth instalment of the first-person shooter Halo series. 343 Industries released a new 'prelude" trailer of the inside story of the company as they prepare for the launch of Halo 4.

343 Industries have made known that Halo 4 will be an epic chapter in the Halo series.

Bungie, who had made the original Halo games, will not be part of this production. The company split from Microsoft after the release of Halo 3 in 2007, and was acquired by Activision Blizzard. 343 Industries was created by Microsoft especially to oversee the development of the Halo franchise. This will be their first release of the Halo franchise. There has been great deal of pressure on the company to create an epic game for the loyal Halo fans, in fact, the franchise itself is worth millions and is one of the highest-selling video game franchises released on Xbox console. Its sales figures are astounding considering that the fist Halo was released only in 2001.

Halo 4 is expected to be in the markets by November.

The company in its prelude video showed off how the game was developed. The game will be featured to have a three-story arc, which was not present in the original Halo. Though there might be some allusions of the earlier Halo franchises, newer elements like mystery, discovery, and exploration will be added to the game.

The video shows how the studio has pushed itself to create this epic game. With game development becoming complex, the video shows different elements like art, music, script, motion-captured cut scenes being made. There is no narrator for the video. About 20 seconds of in-game footage is also shown. Will this suffice until the next trailer comes? Will 343 Industries be an adequate replacement to Bungie? We'll have to wait until November to find out.
