'No Man's Sky' Rated PG In Australia, Releases Pre-Order Deal

"No Man's Sky" is finally arriving in just over a month, and fans are anticipating its arrival to PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows. The game is featured in PlayStation's latest promo for their summer releases, which also include "Gran Turismo Sport," "Horizon Zero Down," and "The Last Guardian."

Hello Games' "No Man's Sky" promises galaxies that can infinitely be explored by gamers in a groundbreaking new game that generates worlds after worlds in every step. Gamers are given the choice to write their own story in its infinite worlds. But how exactly does that work? According to PlayStation Lifestyle, the game environment or say, a particular world is generated once a player begins, using his or her location as the input in a very complex algorithm. The output? A unique world among the 18 quintillion available planets in the game.

"No Man's Sky" was initially set for a June release and was not presented at this year's E3 lineup, and instead will be released this August. PlayStation Lifestyle reports that the delay enraged fans of the game, with creator Sean Murray alledgedly receiving death threats over the pushed back release.

Purchasing the Windows PC version of "No Man's Sky" at Steam will get fans an 11% discount on the $60 price tag. In fact, Destructoid reports that gamers can use the code "JUN-COUPPRE-MAIL20" to obtain the discount.

"No Man's Sky" has been rated PG by the Australian Classification Board, which claims that the game contains "mild science fiction themes and violence, online interactivity." The game will be available for PlayStation 4 and Windows PC on August 9 in North America, August 10 in Europe, and August 12 in U.K. For more information, visit no-mans-sky.com.
