Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Latest News, Release Date & Rumors: Next Phablet Name Official? Specs, Features, More Details Here
Samsung is expected to unfurl the successor to its Samsung Galaxy Note 5 this August though the official name has yet to be settled. Many still consider it as the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 but reliable tipster Evan Blass may have just put the debate to rest.
Back in May, word came out that Samsung would be making a key jump in the Galaxy Note series. This was highlighted in a previous post revealing that the next phablet will be known as the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 instead of the Samsung Galaxy Note 6.
The reason behind it was to align the phablet to its Samsung Galaxy S7/ S7 Edge. Seeing that it would be carrying nearly similar specs (i.e. curved screen), it would level the devices as far as release is concerned.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 it is
The issue on the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 being official was addressed as well in another previous post though the latest revelation of Evan Blass could be the icing on the cake.
Blass posted a new photo on Twitter which shows off the possible Galaxy Note 7 logo. Photos can be easily edited these days but considering it was someone who has been accurate and reliable, the revelation has become credible, Phone Arena reports.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 rumored features recap
Making the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 official is something that hardly comes as a surprise anymore and potential buyers are more concerned on what the phablet will bring.
Aside from the alleged application of the 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with curved edges, the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will also come with an Exynos 8 SoC, 6 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage (expandable via microSD), a 12 MP main camera, 5 MP front camera, a 4,000 mAh battery, an iris scanner and S-Pen support, CNet reports.
Samsung is expected to unveil the highly awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on August 2 at a Galaxy Unpacked event to be held at the Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center in New York City.
