Massive Marvel Cinematic Universe Will Happen? More Details Revealed

Marvel has a lot of popular superhero titles when one refers to the comic books but the story is not the same in the film industry. With companies like Sony, 20th Century Fox and Universal each having proprietary rights to certain Marvel hero names, seeing a film featuring majority (if not all) seems farfetched.

Producing films is a business so seeing some heroes left out in select flicks is understandable. But after the success of “The Avengers” and “Captain America: Civil War”, would the box office results not be enough to temporarily bring down fences?

Rumored Fox-Marvel collaboration

A massive Marvel film could happen only if major companies like Fox and Marvel sit down and consider the possibilities. To date, Fox has “X-Men” and “Fantastic Four” under its wing though the latter has bombed out big time.

“X-Men: Apocalypse” offered an impressive take as far as broadening the featured heroes though comic book fans are more impressed with what “The Avengers” and “Captain America” has achieved, per Screen Rant.

With bigger battles ahead, rumors of possibly having the “X-Men” join forces with “The Avengers” have been mentioned time and again. “Fantastic Four” characters were around in the comics and animation flicks so one gets the feeling that Fox and Marvel will at some point work together.

Producer Matt Key sounded off about a potential collaboration through Collider Heroes, hinting at something of the like happening in the future. He singles out how Sony and Marvel were able to work something out with the “Spider-Man” franchise so why not Fox?

Fantastic Four following Spider-Man?

Of the “Fantastic Four” and “X-Men” properties, the former seriously needs some help. The film failed to live up to the hype and one gets the feeling that it could be picked up by Marvel soon.

As mentioned above, the “Fantastic Four” are key figures in the “Infinity Wars” comics so seeing it follow “Spidey” may happen.

Future ‘X-Men’ movies too?

Without question, seeing the “X-Men” join hands with “The Avengers” will be the ultimate dream. Fox is aware of the success “The Avengers” is enjoying so why not come on board?

Fox could allow Marvel to take some creative control of the “X-Men” franchise, something sure to benefit both parties as singled out by Complex.

It could be a temporary setup that any Marvel fan would love to see. But the thing is when will both sit down and try to work things out?
