'The Elder Scrolls Online' Latest News & Rumors: New PC, PS4, Xbox One Update Coming This August

Gamers are still eager to see whether Bethesda will be releasing an “Elder Scrolls VI” though the answer to that is not pretty comforting at least for now. So if not that wished for game, “The Elder Scrolls Online” could be a wise game to focus on for now.

The latest on “The Elder Scrolls Online” is that the MMO will be getting its 11th patch this August. Called “Shadows of the Hist”, the new patch will be loaded with new features for players that include two new Argonian-themed dungeons, a style parlor, costume dyes and so on.

As far as the new dungeons for “The Elder Scrolls Online”, these will be new four-player dungeons called “Ruins of Mazzatun” and “Cradle of Shadows”. Gamers who have active ESO Plus memberships can play them for free.

For those who are not members, there is an alternative way to get hold of the update. This is through the DLC Dungeon Pack which costs about 1,500 crowns according to Game Spot.

The dungeons for “The Elder Scrolls Online” are shaping up as something to look forward to. The two dungeons can be played under normal and difficult game modes while new sets, achievements and special rewards await gamers who are up to the task.

Outside the traditional melees, the style parlor on “The Elder Scrolls Online” should appeal to the ones looking to enhance their characters. Appearance and race can be altered with this feature though it remains to be seen how much it would cost players.

“The Elder Scrolls Online” characters can also change their names with the update but it will require real-world money to do so. Like the style parlor feature, there is no word yet on how much this would cost. For those looking to know more about the update, such can be done through the official game website.

The “The Elder Scrolls Online” 11th update is expected to come on August 1 for the PC and Mac while game consoles such as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will get theirs on August 16.
