The new featurette for "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" was released at the same time author J.K. Rowling released a new post on "Pottermore," giving more details on the American version of Hogwarts, SlashFilm reported.

Rowling's recent note on "Pottermore" gave fans a brief history of Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry including its origin and the founder's life story.

Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is located in the mountainous area of Mount Greylock, Massachusetts. Like Hogwarts, the school is also composed of four houses: Wampus, Horned Serpent, Pukwudgie and Thunderbird.

The Story Of Isolt Sayre

In her note, J.K. Rowling explained that Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry started with a young girl named Isolt Sayre, who was raised by her aunt. Screenrant said that the aunt's name Gormlaith Gaunt should a strike a chord to all Potterheads.

Gaunt is said to be a direct descendant of Salazar Slytherin, the founder of Slytherin house at Hogwarts. Slytherin is a known muggle-hater. He was resolute in making Hogwarts muggle-free.

Gormlaith Gaunt is very much like Slytherin in her hate towards muggles. She was firm in her efforts to keep her niece from having any interactions with muggles or mudbloods. However, Isolt managed to escape after 12 years and ended up in the U.S.

Later on, Isolt met magical beasts she came to friend. She then married a muggle and raised four children together.

Deciding to teach magic herself to her children, Isolt slowly founded the Ilvermorny School, attracting other magical families across America.

Warner Bros. hopes to turn "Fantastic Beasts" into a fantasy trilogy. J.K. Rowling also wrote the screenplay according to reports.

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" will have a worldwide on Nov. 18. Check out the featurette below.
